As part of my duties with St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by The Narrows, I layout, typeset and edit their monthly newsletter. The newsletter ranges from 24-28 pages and requires the organization of a large number of contributors. The newsletter is then distributed via post and email.

Brand introduction is very important in the corporate world, especially when you are trying to make headway with a large northwest software company. The founder of Madrona Tree asked if I would lay out a brand introduction brochure. I was happy to help a young upstart company.

Report Illegal Dumping

I was given the opportunity to create a flyer for Make a Splash. I had to convey the message that illegal dumping is not a good thing and that it hurts our water system.

Sweet Hope

Sweet Hope creates delicious truffles and caramels and donates the proceeds to various organizations that work with children worldwide. Their main fundraiser is during Christmas where the money raised goes to a remote orphanage in Far East Siberia. I created a logo and branding for this growing charitable organization. The website design is a premium Wordpress theme and the photographs are courtesy of Willow’s Photography.

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church

In addition to a monthly print newsletter, I also created and maintain St. Mark’s website. Used as an outreach tool, the website needed to be clean and visitor friendly. I also created a full branding package for the church that included a color scheme, print materials and a full ministry catalog.

My clients are located all across the country. JSJ Window Treatments offers beautiful window furnishings and custom upholstery in Cos Cob, Connecticut. They wanted a website that was simple and elegant and showcased the beauty of their work.

Rebecca Royce

Projects that push me to the limits are some of my favorites. Rebecca contacted me to create a site that would help her publish her first novel. Paranormal fantasy isn’t in my personal realm of reading, but I’m always up for a challenge. I contacted local Tacoma artist Andrea Lowen to create a custom piece of digital art to highlight Rebecca’s site. Using Andrea’s art as the backdrop I then crafted an entire site that Rebecca can grow with as her series of books expands. I also maintain this site with custom graphics and updates as books are sold and released.
